Telltale Games was a video game developer. It was founded by former LucasArts developers, seeking to return to the adventure game genre. The company is known for their episodic release for all of their games. The studio was closed due to bankruptcy in with a new studio with the same name forming after acquiring most of their properties later that year. Founded in , Telltale Games was best known for their point-and-click adventures, most of which have been released on the PC. They released several of their games on the Wii and its downloadable video game service, WiiWare. Their first Nintendo platform game, CSI: Hard Evidence , was released in and didn't fair too well with the critics.
