Talkshop psychology

The Talk Shop is a group of dedicated psychologists who provide access to high-quality counselling and psychology for everyone. Our Low Cost appointments are available immediately. You can see one of our qualified Psychologists and be eligible for a Medicare rebate for up to 10 counselling sessions per calendar year. If you have approval to receive psychological counselling under one of these schemes, you can see a Psychologist at The Talk Shop without any cost to you. Please note, due to high demand, our Medicare bulk-billed daytime weekday telehealth sessions have a waitlist of months. We have both male and female therapists, with different backgrounds, experiences and languages. We have therapists who specifically deal with children , adolescents , couples and families. All our therapists are fluent in English, and we also have therapists fluent at speaking in Arabic , Dutch , German , Hindi , Turkish , Hungarian , Punjabi , Spanish , Swedish , Mandarin , Turkish , Urdu , and Hindi , who are happy to speak with clients in those languages. We also have therapists who can understand but not conduct sessions in Greek , Afrikaans , Filipino , French , Japanese , and Sinhala. In Mooroolbark our office is in the big blue building on Manchester Road, just a 1 minute walk north of the railway station, with lots of on-street parking making it easily accessible from Ringwood, Croydon, Kilsyth, Chirnside Park, Lilydale, Montrose, Coldstream, Healesville, Mount Evelyn, Silvan and Wandin. Our Reservoir Office is located in the Gertz Avenue shopping strip, with plenty of parking right at the front door. We have daytime weekday telehealth appointments that are bulk-billed through Medicare when your referring GP provides you with a Mental Health Care Plan, leaving you with only the best mental health care, and no out-of-pocket costs. Low-cost daytime and after-hours appointments that are eligible for Medicare rebates are also available, and these have a minimal out-of-pocket cost with them. We have appointments during the daytime as well as evenings and weekends, and our practices are easily accessible, so there is no barrier to getting the help you need and deserve. Call our friendly reception team on from 8am to 8pm weekdays, or 9am to 4pm Saturdays to make an appointment.
