The Tabantha area is a region in the far Northwestern end of Hyrule, and home to the avian Rito. It is comprised of great lakes and forests, backed by the icy Hebra Mountains just to the North and East. Due to the frigid climates of the bordering Hebra Mountains, many parts of Tabantha are extremely cold - requiring multiple cold-resistant Armor, elixirs, or food to stave off the harsh climates. Flying Guardians are found monitoring the valley by Piper Ridge. The Tabantha Region has a total of six Shrines. Two of the Tabantha Shrines are hidden until their Shrine Quest is completed.
