Students study and critically evaluate empirical studies from current literature and examine scholarly and professional writing skills. Students learn the application of evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology, scientific methods, and use of qualitative and quantitative data as it applies to the assessment and treatment of individuals with communication disorders.
