Subnautica interactive map
So I got the idea of making a "Google Maps" type map for Sunbautica. After tinkering some the last couple days this is the result. Subnautica Maps [subnautica-maps. All the locations have been derived from the Subnautica Wiki. There is some more stuff I want to add to the map but haven't had time. If you click the Lat Long at the bottom, it will let you enter your own coordinates and place a temporary marker on the map. To enter coordinates from Subnautica, you need to put the last of the three numbers in the Latitude box, first one in the Longitude box. Right now this is hosted on a free site, I would love to have it's own site for it but that costs money. One of the caveats of the free site is the page is inaccessible from 2 am - 3 am Central time. If you have any suggestions on what to add or think any locations may be off please let me know. Fun idea. I can't speak to the accuracy of any of the locations. What are the "Biome Entrances"? I'm not sure I recognize what those points relate to.

Subnautica's bizarre alien life and dramatic rock formations make it easy to spend a lot of time beneath the waves, but it's also easy to get completely, where-the-hell-is-my-Seamoth kind of lost. Maybe humans just aren't built to navigate as well underwater as we do on land, or maybe Planet B needs to hire a better city planner. Whatever causes it, getting turned around under the sea is no fun. There's no such thing as an in-game Subnautica map, and even the really smart fish haven't figured out how to invent GPS satellites. To help out our fellow marooned survivors, we put together our own map and a few of our best strategies for finding your way around in Subnautica. A note on spoilers: This guide is spoiler-free. We won't give away any locations from later in the game or share directions to the fully stocked, hour supermarket hidden under the sea.

You can track your progress by marking the points of interest that you've been to as "visited", either by clicking twice on the flag marker on the map, or checking the "mark as visited" checkbox in the information window. I'd imagine at least that would be a good way to start a mod involving all that, depending on security concerns however.
