This is a vintage Stratton powder compact from the mid 20th century. Gold tone, stratton compact, engine turned front with red baguette stones.

This powder compact was made in and features the Miraclean system which self cleans the internal mirror - cleaning any loose powder away every time you open and close the compact. The compact is made of brass and has a lovely black polka dot finish accented with a gold fleur-de-lys pattern. This lovely powder compact comes with the original sifter. There is the signature Stratton logo on the lid of the powder well. The pattern on the lid has a couple of areas in two corners which are rubbed.
