We might ask you to open the bags at the recycling centre. Classed as DIY waste. Look for specialist waste disposal contractors in your local telephone directory or online. Please empty fuel tanks completely for petrol lawnmowers. Please donate items in the orange Re-use containers on site. Put filters or lights in the small electrical appliances container. Think about home composting it instead. Put clean items in bags and place them in the textiles banks for recycling. Batteries may be a fire hazard if you put them in your household rubbish bin. Put them in the cardboard container. We have 11 Recycling Centres in Suffolk. Not accepted, for hygiene reasons. In West Suffolk, glass isn't collected in the blue household recycling bins but there are over 1, glass recycling banks that you can use across Suffolk. Get a list of vehicles and parts including tyres that we do accept at our recycling centres. Flat glass is classed as DIY waste.
