Nickelodeon Sonic formerly Sonic Nickelodeon is an Indian children's pay television channel operated by Viacom18 as part of the Nickelodeon India network. After 9 years on the air, Sonic became the fourth most watched channel across all genres with TRP in December Viacom18 launched the channel in December On 3 May , the channel was rebranded with the tag line "Destination of high decibel comedy and action", and was given a new logo. Since the rebrand, the channel has shifted its focus to comedy and started producing some original local shows.

The series is a spin-off created around a character named Ting Tong from the popular series called Gattu Battu. It revolves around the daily adventures of a fun and lovable character named Ting Tong who has a temporary memory loss issue and transforms into whatever character he sees before him when he loses his memory which turns him into an accidental hero of the town comically catching bad guys by mistake. Ting Tong is an innocent, simple and grounded character. He has long flat hair falling over his eyes covering his vision always due to which he is unable to see where he is headed and often ends up banging into walls, falling off stairs, slipping of banana peels etc. But that is not all. Every time something hits his head, Ting Tong loses his memory temporarily. Not only does he lose his memory, he also transforms completely into any character that is present in front of him in that instance, imbibing all the characteristics; be it a human or an animal. Khoonkhar Singh is the inspector of the town with Hoshiyaar Singh as his hawaladar. He is always late at the incident, always trying to catch the dose brothers. His accent is that of Shatrugan Sinha.
