The library strives to provide professional job opportunities for students during their time at SMCM. We offer flexible job schedules and work with our student interns to schedule within their availability. Working at the library is not only an opportunity for our student interns to gain professional experience, but it also provides exposure to one of the most important resources for students on campus, smcm library study rooms. The accessibility resource room is available any time the library is open and may be used without limitation by students who reserve the room. DAISY players are available at the circulation desk for a standard two-week loan which can be extended up to one whole semester. Several of our databases include the ability to audibly recite articles. Users can adjust the reading speed and have the software highlight the on-screen as it is read.
