Ingredients 1 sheet of Filo Pastry glass of Water 1 tsp Chinese Five Spice 1 clove of Garlic Fry Light 2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce For the filling you can either go to the supermarket and buy a stir fry mix or alternatively you can make it yourself with individual ingredients, the mix is up to you. I have given some suggestions, you don't have to use them all or can use alternatives. You can also add meat to the recipe, such as shredded chicken or spiced beef mince: Half Red Pepper 1 small Carrot Handful of Beansprouts 3 Mini Corncobs 2 Spring Onions finely shredded Cabbage I didn't have any in my cupboard so I shredded some spinach Method Wash, peel and chop your chosen vegetables and place in a bowl. Peel your clove of garlic and finely chop, add that to the bowl along with the Chinese Five Spice and Soy Sauce. Mix all the ingredients together, heat a frying pan and spray with fry light, fry for a few minutes to soften the vegetables, then put the vegetables back into a bowl, leave to cool then cover the bowl with film and place into the refrigerator to marinate. If possible leave overnight, if not an hour or so should do.

It's January, and that means for a lot of us it's time to watch the waistline after a bit too much of the old Christmas indulgence. I love spring rolls, but they're not exactly healthy, so Slimming World have come up with a lower fat alternative. For a lighter version of a firm favourite. They are a little fiddly when it comes to wrapping them up, but definitely worth it in the end - and bonus, you can eat as many as you want! To make you will need: Lasagne sheets dry to be classed as 'free' on Slimming World - 1 sheet per roll Chicken drumsticks with skin removed Pack of stir fry vegetables Chinese 5 spice seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic and soy sauce Low cal cooking spray Sweet chilli sauce for dipping this has a 'syn' value Start by seasoning your chicken with the 5 spice, salt and pepper and roast in the oven with all fat removed for about 40 minutes until nice and crispy. In the mean time, put a large pan of water on to boil. In a separate pan, stir fry your vegetables with Fry Light or a low calorie spray, lots of seasoning and finish with a dash of soy sauce. Leave to cool while your chicken finishes cooking, then remove it from the oven and shred it all up. Add your chicken to your vegetables and taste to make sure it has enough flavour. Spray some more low cal spray onto a baking sheet and leave to one side for later.

I have finally mastered a completely syn free dipping sauce, with all of the gloopy thickness you expect from your favourite bottled varieties! This recipe on the other hand, is the perfect dipping sauce, as well as being perfect for cooking with. The secret to this, and a few of my recent recipes, is Xanthan Gum, which I recently discovered is syn free! Another string to my bow with this recipe, is a really high class sweetener. I really do think it makes all of the difference! Recently I discovered the Sukrin range, which includes a white granulated sweetene r, an icing sugar and a natural brown sugar , and had my mind blown. They actually taste like sugar!

I have made slimming world friendly spring rolls before but the recipe I found got quite complicated and so when I saw this recipe I had to try it. They make very large Spring rolls and one eaten as a lunch with some salad maybe as your superfree would be a really filling meal. Of course you could just have them for snacking but they are quite big!
