She leaves behind her daughters, Elise and Liane Louis Molgat , her cherished grandson, Sebastien, to whom she was a beloved "Gran", three generations of nieces and nephews, and many friends and neighbours. Best remembered for her brilliant smile and positive, effervescent personality, Lillian's outgoing nature led her to volunteer during Canada's Centennial year as a "step-on" tour guide for visitors arriving by chartered bus to Ottawa. Gifted with the Irish knack for storytelling, she continued to share her love of Ottawa and colourful tales of the Capital with visitors to the city well into her late 70's.
