Setelah mengumumkan kelulusannya pada 17 Agustus , Shinta Naomi akhirnya menggelar pertunjukan terakhirnya sebagai anggota JKT48 pada 29 Desember Perjalanannya bersama JKT48 selama enam tahun meninggalkan banyak cerita yang tak terlupakan baginya dan para penggemar. Sempat gagal saat audisi generasi pertama, tak menyurutkan semangatnya untuk menjadi anggota JKT Perjuangannya untuk kembali mengikuti audisi generasi kedua akhirnya berhasil membuatnya menjadi bagian dari JKT48 bersama adiknya, Sinka Juliani. Setelah kurang lebih 7 bulan menjadi siswi pelatihan trainee , Shinta Naomi bersama 17 orang anggota generasi 2 lainnya dipromosikan menjadi anggota tim KIII. Pengumuman ini disampaikan saat akhir pertunjukan teater "Matahari Milikku" pada 25 Juni Ia menjabat sebagai kapten selama 2 tahun. Selama menjadi kapten, Naomi bersama timnya berhasil menjawab tantangan untuk mengadakan konser tunggal dengan minimal penonton dalam rangka perayaan ulang tahun pertama Tim KIII.

Shinta merupakan anak ketiga dari empat bersaudara dari pasangan Alip Prasetya yang beretnis Tionghoa Taiwan dan Elisyah Priyanti yang beretnis Sunda.
