The universe of My Hero Academia, though it preaches everyone doing their best and following their dreams, can be quite a cruel place. After all, the League of Villains is essentially a group of unfortunate souls who've been branded as 'unable to be saved' by hero society and cast aside. There are some characters who get judged unfairly because of the nature of their power. Desperately trying to prove everyone wrong, Hitoshi Shinso has been viewed as one of MHA' s villains rather than a budding hero. As a stoic, no-nonsense, and misunderstood character, being Hitoshi Shinso comes with plenty of harsh realities.

The shonen anime series cleverly embraces superhero archetypes to tell the story of Izuku Midoriya and his peers as they strive to become the next generation of heroes that will keep the peace. One of the most interesting individuals to emerge from the pack is Hitoshi Shinso, a hero that both holds a ton of potential, but is also a major mystery. My Hero Academia has done exceptional work to showcase a wide variety of Quirks, some of which pull from more traditional superpowers and others that feel considerably more niche. My Hero Academia bills U. High as the most prestigious of institutions for those that are interested in becoming professional heroes. Hitoshi Shinso comes from a disadvantaged place and has to work harder to prove himself. Aizawa has selective tastes and so his support for Shinso goes a long way. This makes it even easier for Shinso to get his opponent to reply to him and succumb to his power. Season five operates as a major showcase for not just Hitoshi Shinso, but also the majority of Class 1-B. This tournament is a solid way for U. The top positions are filled by prominent Class 1-A heroes like Bakugo and Todoroki, but Shinso does a modest job considering his disadvantages. Shinso ranks in the top 16 of the Sports Festival and his performance gets him some important attention from U.
He makes up for this by training under Eraser Head and learning how to use his signature Capturing Weapon. An Exceptional Child, shinso mha.
High School 's General Department from Class 1-C, although he is awaiting transfer to the hero course for his second year. Hitoshi is a relatively tall young man with messy, indigo-colored hair that flares out in large tufts around his head, notably straight teeth. His eyes are purple with white pupils and are thin and somewhat triangular, pointing downward, with no visible eyelashes. They're usually half-closed, and he has dark eye bags underneath them. Sports Festival.
That may be about to change though. In Season 5, Episode 4, Shinso gets an opportunity to showcase how much he's improved in a tryout for the Hero course. When Classes 1-A and 1-B fight against each other for combat training, he is added into the mix with them. And though some students think of Shinso's inexperience as a handicap, others see him as an asset thanks to his Quirk, which is what makes him more intimidating. It's also undergone some changes since we last saw him in action in Season 2. Shino's Quirk is Brainwashing , which puts his targets into a state where they have to obey whatever he commands, as long as it's a clear and precise action.

Hitoshi claimed to be jealous of Izuku's Quirk as it gives him combat efficiency. On the other hand, Izuku understands Hitoshi's situation as he himself was also considered unfavorable due to having no Quirk. Before their battle in the U. Sports Festival , Hitoshi and Izuku were hostile to each other, but after their battle, Hitoshi seems to have gained respect for Izuku, telling him not to lose too pitifully while Izuku respects Hitoshi's goal to enter the Department of Heroics. They come across each other once again, where Izuku reacts friendly to him, though Hitoshi ignores his greeting. Later, during the preparations for the U. School Festival , Hitoshi stumbles upon a conversation between several Class 1-A members, including Izuku, where the topic of Hitoshi and his Brainwashing comes up. Izuku starts to talk about all the great uses for his Quirk as a Hero, leading Hitoshi to develop a new sense of respect and admiration for him, hearing someone else feel the same way about his Quirk.
