Hi, so I decided to feed my alt addiction.

I would love to be able to bring utility to the raid team in Dragonflight. I don't think a watered down elesham mastery for everyone else is the best choice, but it would be better than nothing. Alternately we could have some kind of boon of the elements which just gives a random raid buff from the pool so you can fill any missing slots. I have seen them dance arround the question repeatedly but it never lessened my concerns. I like how Ion brought up that not every class should be in on every fight then why did they give almost every class some piece of utility that guarentees that they are required on every fight?

I think most people play elemental because it's easier to offspec resto. In a lot of guilds versatility is the key to a spot on the raidteam. Usually you'll do better at whatever spec you enjoy the most. Play what you find more enjoyable :. One thing to note is that Noxxic's DPS rankings are pretty unrealistic. I know this because one of the owners of this site and contributors to SimCraft was talking about it - the sims that they run to determine DPS vary wildly in quality between classes and specs. Don't trust them. Overall I'd really just say play what you feel is closest to your style. I prefer Enhancement, but it's certainly more difficult to obtain a raid ready set as your offspec. There aren't any that sim it.
