I must have taped this as I usually watched whichever "noir" series the BBC fills this spot with so wasn't really sure what it was. Set in on the surface it is about a beauty pageant, but takes a look at what is going on behind the scenes and the pressures on the contestants. And then one of them dies. Also has a young female academic who is there to provide culture to the contestants, but she really wants to tell them they can be more than their bodies.
