Due to Bulkhead behind us,seats had little to no recline. Due to a weather we had to fly over Russia which made the total flight time just over 17hours.

And while business class is a massive improvement over the seats United flies on many of its other international aircraft, economy is a different story altogether. On this particular model, economy seats measure just 17 inches wide, compared to the up to That extra inch makes a huge difference, especially if you're unfortunate enough to have especially broad shoulders. The service on board was very good both ways. Theres a passageway across from the exit row so you have a place to stand and stretch out of the aisle. It is very difficult to fly 15 hrs with no entertainment. Although you have legroom with no seat in front, the seat "sticks out" in the aisle so you will be bumped by carts, flight attendants and passengers for the entire flight. I am 6'3" and lbs. Don't care about windows. The meals and entertainment are quite well. Seat 25 J is a standard Economy Class seat however, the proximity to the lavatories may be bothersome. The Business class seat is a joke, not degree flat, more like angled pod type seating. The fellow passenger in 29C overspilt and we had to fight for space beacuse the width is the smallest ever.

Inflight entertainment is provided through United Private Screening.

The AVOD are very good, it gives you the possibilities to listrn music, watch a lot of films or play a game. I switched my seat back and forth a few times based on conflicting comments between being in the "mini cabin" where 3J is located and the main business cabin. This seat offered isle access with no one behind you. This row was just south of first class but I could not say that first is any better -- perhaps they get their meals sooner and they have a smidge more legroom but that's it. But, the entry to that lavatory is, technically, on the Biz side of the curtain, so it wasn't used that often. Theres a passageway across from the exit row so you have a place to stand and stretch out of the aisle. The proximity to the galleys may be bothersome. Legs are jammed up against the seat ahead of you if 5'10 or above, had no MCE's available free as platinum or wouldve never touched it. Passengers have reported that the overhead storage is used for oxygen canisters, so passengers in this seat must share the adjoining overhead storage. The lie flat seats are comfortable. Row 19 middle has the bulkhead behind it just like the row 18 windows. Row 4 is coded yellow but i did not find it to be any issue. A HUGE improvement over the unreconfigured , so make sure to check the type of plane prior to booking you biz ticket.
