Editor's note: The following article contains spoilers for Scream VI. The stakes have never been higher for Ghostface victims than on Scream VIwhich is by far the bloodiest installment in the beloved slasher franchise.
Scream 6 put a new spin on the franchise, as there were not one but several Scream 6 killers, the most of any Scream film, and not all of them were working together. The film has a total of five killers, including two that were introduced in Scream 6 's inventive opening scene. Unfortunately, neither of them made it past the opening scene as they were both killed by a different Ghostface killer. However, the opening scene was the first time the Scream killer revealed their identity so early. They wanted to kill Sam and Tara as revenge, first having to kill Jason and Greg before they could get to the Carpenter sisters. With so many Ghostfaces in play, there are several possibilities for which Scream 6 killer killed which victim, but there are clues to help figure them out.

With the exception of Scream 3 , every single movie in the franchise has featured more than one killer. Usually killing in pairs, this dynamic makes a fun game out of trying to guess who specifically was behind the Ghostface mask in each scene. However, Scream 6 presents a fun and unique challenge to this game. Whenever one of the killers is featured in a scene with Ghostface, we always know that obviously the one in the costume is the other person. We know that Detective Bailey, Ethan, and Quinn all of whom are actually surnamed Kirsch like Richie all had a hand in the numerous killings in this movie. But we thought it would be fun to give Scream 6 a closer analysis and definitively determine just who was behind the iconic mask each time. This one is also pretty obvious since Jason removes his mask and ditches the costume afterwards, just to run into Tara on his way back home. It was a really interesting subversion of the opening kill trope, but as Jason soon found out, being a copycat Ghostface is bad for your health. Plus, while this killing is happening, Quinn is back at the apartment with an amorous male visitor and Ethan is at the frat party dressed as a beautiful reference to the very underrated Monster Party. It also makes sense when we consider the fact that Sam and Tara had just come downstairs from their apartment where Quinn and Ethan were both present, along with Mindy and Chad. So it would have been difficult for either sibling to slip out undetected. And if either of them had left, it would have looked very suspicious to Mindy and Chad. The end is one of the series' most daring reveals and even pays homage to the original sequel, "Scream 2. This drives the theme of revenge that prompts the killing spree and gifts fans with some of the most memorable deaths in the series. In the very end, after cycling through all the likely candidates, including returning fan-favorite Kirby Reed Hayden Panettiere , the Bailey family is revealed to be the trio of Ghostface killers. Their thirst for vengeance is a direct consequence of Richie's Jack Quaid Ghostface escapade, where he teams up with Amber Mikey Madison in the preceding fifth film, "Scream Richie's remaining family members then stalk the survivors in "Scream 6," who continue the Ghostface tradition of strategically killing without mercy. Technically, this is not one of Ghostface's kills, but it was an attack with an obvious answer. When Ghostface infiltrates Sam and Tara's apartment, the gang are forced to flee via a rickety ladder leading to their neighbour across the street.
