We recently finished a kitchen using Schuler cabinets purchased from Lowes. Our next project was to finish off a den with storage units and bookcases. The 2 doors under the sink, the towel drawer and the garbage door all have water damage on the MDF panel that they used on the inside of the door frame. This is exactly why we paid extra for real wood. Maybe if they painted the bottom edge of the panel better, to seal it, the drips would not have went down between the moulding and frame and cause this damage. I emailed them and they will not replace them because they say they do not replace for water damage.
