Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is currently in its timeskip and the series is now very close to its return, with around a month to go before fans get to see their beloved characters once again. The last few chapters of the Boruto manga were certainly very interesting with lots of incredible developments ongoing, such as the switching bodies of Boruto and Kawaki and, of course, the timeskip training. The timeskip training in Naruto was an incredibly iconic moment for the series and for Boruto , fans would hope that the series garners the same praise from the fans. Recently, some new details about the return of Boruto were made public and Sarada Uchiha's post-timeskip design was one of them. Boruto began its timeskip shortly after Kawaki clashed with Boruto Uzumaki atop the Hokage faces. The two engaged in a very deadly duel, which ended up blinding Boruto Uzumaki in one eye. Kawaki was then restrained by Konoha Shinobi, however, Momoshiki ended up giving him an opportunity to escape, which he took with both hands. Later on, Kawaki realized that escape from Konoha was hard, despite Momoshiki's help and that is precisely when Ada stepped in and granted him his wish subconsciously. Kawaki wished to be adored just like Boruto Uzumaki, however, as Naruto's real son and not his adopted son. He wished to switch lives with Boruto Uzumaki and that is precisely what ended up happening, thanks to Ada's Omnipotence ability. Kawaki and Boruto ended up switching bodies and while this was incredible for Kawaki, it spelled doom for Boruto. The entirety of the village now hated him and was trying to kill him actively for killing the 7th Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki , which is something that he also had them believe.
