Very clearly understaffed. We arrived at 7pm and were already 86'ing numerous items on the menu and had to wait quite a while to be seen.
We fell in love with restaurants and great dining experiences. What started out as an oyster bar has since evolved into a larger sustainable seafood restaurant and a one-of-a-kind local dining experience for guests. In addition to enjoying a delicious seafood meal, guests can also join Sand and Pearl staff for yoga sessions, live music, and other community events. Maybe the only thing more important to Nicole and Nathan than a holistic dining experience is their relationship with local food producers. And I believe strongly in supporting your neighbours. It has never been more important to support local food producers — especially seafood producers.

In spite of the impressive furnishings, the eye is drawn to the south and west-facing walls of the restaurant, both of which are open to the beautiful views and refreshing sea breeze.
