Scott Christian Sava really, really wanted to draw Spider-Man. He was already cultivating a passion for art, so it seemed like the best thing in the world, being able to draw Spider-Man for Marvel. It focused on a lot of the same things as comic book art: intense anatomy studies and figure drawing, plus experience in media like painting and graphic design. It was planned as the bishopric seat and main cathedral of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The church is dedicated to Saint Sava , the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church and an important figure in medieval Serbia. It is built on the presumed location of St. Sava's grave.
