During this time, Dr. Duncan was working on his Graduate degree in Biology and was determined to continue his space research after completing the program. He discovered that grants were more often awarded to physicians so he enrolled in Medical School and earned his MD at the University of Miami. While attending the University of Miami, he found he possessed a deep interest in every specialty of medicine the encountered and decided to pursue a career in medicine.
