Challenges are hidden quests found in various regions. They usually involve destroying things, and are only started when part of the challenge's objective is triggered. Below is a guide for every Challenge in Rise of the Tomb Raider. To complete this challenge, shoot 7 incense burners. All incense burners are found at the end of the level in the area with the Prophet's tomb. After Lara takes a moment to admire the tomb, look to the right.

The first statue is the only one in the town area - it's in front of the large structure you zipped by to get to street level. Head for the steps that lead out of the north end of town to find the second and third statues, one on either side. Before dropping down to the plaza, leap to the other roof above the Citadel Plaza camp to reach the final statue. The first bell is easy to find. Check the top level of the building you zip down to when entering the town. From the platform with Bell 1, look northeast to spot the next bell in the building across the street. This is in the first place you probably thought to look: the belfry of the large tower at the north end of town. You can get this once you're sent to commandeer the trebuchet. From the platform, look toward the edge of the map. Shoot through the metal barrier there to open a small room that houses the final bell. When you zip down to the rooftop upon entering town, check the building immediately west to find the first banner.
The final brazier is behind wooden beams. The first signal is on the glacier atop the western city wall. Below is a guide for each Challenge.

This sub-menu shows active and completed missions and challenges, and lets you toggle between them if you have more than one active at a time. There are 8 Deathless banners hanging in the first part of the city. Locate and destroy all of them with fire arrows or molotovs to complete this challenge. All of the banner locations are shown below and marked with red dots on the annotated level map.

There are all hanging on walls of the buildings in the main part of the city. The first few are on three houses in the southeast part of the city.

Not far past it, Lara sneaks up on some Trinity soldiers. The first 2 bells are just below the Threshold of Kitezh Base Camp. The first five laptops are in the combat area right after Lara splits up with Jacob to find a way to open the gate. Current page: The Lost City challenges. After destroying that brazier, the next one is behind you, but it's blocked by beams and one of those has rope wrapped around it. When you've unlocked the base camp by the observatory, you'll be able to reach this platform.
There are cave and bear icons in that area on the level map , so you can guess what's ahead. Go through the large archway and follow the tunnel to a cave with a huge bear.

To get back there after completing the story, fast travel to the Threshold of Kitezh Base Camp , slide down the zip lines, and make your way to the southwest. The next one is just a little further down the hill on top of a silo next to the shack and cave. A woman is standing next to it. To the left of the ladder is a small room with a poster hanging in the back. The final bell is hidden in a room by the southern trebuchet. You must run through the region in order to access this last fuel tank.
