One year on from the notorious Ripper murders, London is terrorised once again by a series of brutal killings. When gruesome letters from the Ripper begin landing on his desk, an innocent reporter finds himself drawn into a deadly mystery. Written, Producer and Directed by Steve Lawson this little independent feature film certainly caught me off guard. I was very much expecting a low-budget-looking affair and was instantly blown away by the classic and quite beautifully shot cinematography of this independent film. There was an air of class to it and all the locations used perfectly complemented one another within the story. The story revolves around the real-life murderer as we focus on a reporter named Sebastian Chris Bell who once had fame and fortune writing about Jack the Ripper until the murders dried up and his bank balance died along with it.

Storyline Edit. She shares it with Sebastian the newspaper reporter who want to be famous. There is colour photo in a draw. Even though it's lower budget the makeup, costumes and locations all look decent. Yet colour photography wasn't invented until Main character is a news reporter figuring things out. They do very well to keep you watching and the twists are very good. I came by this film expecting a cheap slasher style film and was pleasantly surprised by a well acted drama. At newspaper is another writer named Lenny. The plot line was, at the very least, only suitable fo a pre teen viewing audience and even they would have found it tedious, even the "twist" at the end wasn't even worthy of a primary school exercise. I have seen a few films now from this director and he does appear to use a small cast but the actors he uses are definately getting better, as are his scripts.

In conclusion, Ripper's Revenge was a disappointing film that failed to live up to its potential as a sequel to Ripper Untold At newspaper is another writer named Lenny. Ripper's Revenge 1h 25m. Well it's not terrible. I really expected it to be another 'churn 'em out, never mind the quality just get the money in', waste of resources with no artistic or even commercial merit.
