On Tuesday, April 16 the fast food joint will be opening its doors. Prior to the Chillicothe location, Raising Cane's fans had to travel to Lancaster to enjoy their menu offerings. Chillicothe's location of the restaurant will also feature a one-of-a-kind design compared to its Ohio counterparts. The new design will create an outdoor eating space that produces a smooth flow between indoor and outdoor dining through a connected, covered patio. The interior design will feature natural lighting and graphics that are rooted in a theme of community. Both the indoor and outdoor dining areas will have speakers that play music. The patio will also include a plumbed dog water bowl. Since Chillicothe fits this model, it gave us an excellent opportunity to build our first enhanced restaurant design. This restaurant design will also have 50 percent more seating than the average Raising Cane's in addition to an estimated 20 seats planned for the patio. Dunham's did not return requests for comment. High Five Cakes will be opening its bakery and tea house sometime this year at its new location at 81 North Paint Street, according to their Facebook page. Rost Coffee and The Daniel Investment Group have announced a community collaboration that will be coming to downtown Chillicothe this winter known as The Fort Collective.
