Ragdoll Avalanche 2 is a small avoider game where you control a stickman that handles like a ragdoll. It was developed by Ragdollsoft , whose games on Kongregate have all received badges. The other two games are Particles and Ragdoll Invaders. You control a ragdoll stickman and you move him around the screen using the arrow keys - the focus of the control is in the head. Sharp spikes randomly appear at the top of the screen falling downwards and it is up to you to dodge them. The goal is to dodge as many spikes as you can before dying. If a spike cuts off the end of a limb, blood spurts out but does not end the game. A spike has to hit the head or torso to do any serious damage. A single serious hit causes the game to end. We got to chat with 0rava Dash-rava about his experience with MaD2 and its journey from online project to downloadable sandbox sensation. A lot of my early stuff was simply me learning how to make games in the first place, so there were lots of tutorial clones and experimental prototypes not so much actual games in the beginning. I grew up watching animations and playing Flash games in school. Inspired, I picked up doodling animations myself, then gravitated from small code snippets, to interactive stuff, to actual games. But honestly? I didn't even know game development was seriously an option. The year-old fresh-out-of-high school me just made stuff I thought was cool, and then ended up releasing Mutilate-a-Doll MaD on Kongregate in , because someone else on a forum I shared it on thought it was cool, too.

Mutilate-a-Doll 2 is a virtual stressball physics sandbox about mutilating ragdolls in various ways using an overwhelming amount of items. There are over a thousand items in the game to build, destroy, or of course mutilate. The Ragdoll is basically the center of MaD2. They are made up of 12 body parts, 1 head, 3 torsos, 2 arms, 2 hands, 2 legs and 2 feet. They are the only living thing in the game unless you use the living property on other objects. Ragdolls appear to hold infinite weight, as they can hold a scale Anvil with ease. Every time you start the game, there is a single ragdoll in the center of the lab. Seperating a ragdoll's head from the rest of the body or simply destroying the head, or moving the head's health bar down to zero will "kill" it, meaning that it won't stand up anymore, when the "Dolls Stand" option is on.
