We normally inspect providers that require improvement within 12 to 30 months of the publication of their latest full inspection report. If they continue to be funded, we normally inspect inadequate providers within 15 months of the publication of their latest full inspection report. They also receive monitoring visits. A new provider whose monitoring visit report was published by 31 March will normally receive their first full inspection within 24 months of publication. A new provider whose monitoring visit report was published after 31 March will normally receive their first full inspection within 18 months of publication. We normally give notice up to two working days before the inspection. We can also inspect without notice.

The Qdos training team have been working hard since the start of the Covid pandemic to discover new, immersive methods of providing outstanding education and career opportunities through blended and online learning. One of the most notable features of the new Qdos Training distance learning offer is the introduction of a new Virtual Learning Environment which allows learners to gain their qualifications within a tutor-led classroom, entirely online. Our distance learning offer is available to all age groups 16 to 19, apprentices and adult learners. Types of education include Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Advanced Learner Loans and AEB courses, all of which offer outstanding career progression prospects. In usual circumstances, you can choose whether you want to do distance entirely online or blended learning mix of classroom and online learning. There will be times when we are only able to offer distance learning such as during a national lockdown.

Qdos training

Coaching and assessing vocational learners, usually on a one-to-one basis, in a range of learning environments. They may, for example, coach and assess apprentices, trainees or new recruits ranging from young entrants, to new CEOs in the workplace, commensurate with their own level of experience and qualifications, as required by their employer or their sector. Coaching skills involve complex communication techniques to actively listen, provide feedback and to engage learners in planning their individualised learning programme. Employers may also wish candidates to achieve appropriate additional qualifications in Education and Training, including coaching. Duration: 12 Months.
