It's a bite attack that can either vanquish zombies if bitten enough from the front, or it can swallow a zombie whole if bitten from behind, preventing them from being revived. While the zombie is being digested, the Chomper cannot use its primary weapon or abilities. The Chomp is a great weapon when fighting spawnable zombies with tough defenses. The chomp will instantly destroy and digest their defense, such as the outhouse and coffin, and leave the zombie open for attack.
