Simple enough question. How would you rate the melee weapons currently available? Doesn't matter the reasoning of your choices, be it power, speed, durability or something else. Let's hear it! My favourites are hunting knife, axe and katana. Well Katana is boss, I mostly use short blunt, do not know why but I hardly ever find bats,or axes for some reason, A good pipe wrench, and metal bars are nice cause you can carry a two bags. But metal pipes seem to break fast. I mean frying pans seem to last longer. I do not know the number of zeds i have killed with a pan, and then cooked my dinner in it. Had a snow shovel once, that was a beast. Knives are great, but a lot more risky, I guess if you level up a lot in bladed they be better, but man I have had so many misses at times.
All axes in the game can also be used to tear down doors and cut trees for basic resources, such as planks and tree branches.

Later on with gaining levels and skill fireman axe also does the same, 1 swing one dead zombie. Baseball Bat: Louisville's golden child, this slugger will drop zeds but leave that fancy tee shirt he was wearing free of any new axe, spear or sword shaped holes. Rely on the axe for close-quarters combat, as it can strike multiple enemies and even fully kill a zombie in a single blow if you're lucky. Oh, and that range thing again, great for recovering tactical errors while learning the one-swing, one-hit system. You may be hyped about carrying the game's most powerful unique weapon, but there are two drawbacks that keep it mid-rank. When it comes to base stats, the rare Katana comes out on top every time. Was pretty much always a 1 hit kill. How would you rate the melee weapons currently available? While getting this attack to work takes time to master, stealthily killing zombies in one hit is a great way of defending yourself without attracting the kind of attention a drawn out fight would. My next favorites are probably the axe and baseball bat. Next time ol' stinky falls out of a tree on ya while you're out choppin' you'll be well practiced by keepin' this on your belt. You would soon find yourself surrounded by a horde. Well Katana is boss, I mostly use short blunt, do not know why but I hardly ever find bats,or axes for some reason, A good pipe wrench, and metal bars are nice cause you can carry a two bags. Axes have amazing damage and range with a mediocre swing speed. Most decently-sized houses will have one inside their garage or a closet, so finding one should never be an issue. Although the durability, range, and damage of this blade are great, it is very difficult to find. The damage it gives is not so great, but it has a good range and knocks zombies down, giving you enough time to either finish them off or run away.
Matchless topic, it is interesting to me))))
