Each letter in the answers corresponds to a letter somewhere in the quote, and vice versa. So as you type in an answer, the letters will also appear somewhere in the quote. And as you type letters into the quote, they will appear somewhere in the answers. The illustration shows the first answer filled in, and part of the quote grid. The M from the answer appears toward the right bottom of the quote. The I appears toward the upper left of the quote.
