I purchased my cobalt a year and a half ago thought I was getting a good car and would not have to worry about anything on it for quite a while. Recently the power steering will go out and I have to pull over cut it off then recrank and start driving again only just a short distance it would do it again.

There is no power steering fluid to add on a cobalt the steering is electric. Small electric motors help you turn the wheel.
