A brand-new course aimed at those wanting to get to grips with the potters wheel! Suitable for total beginners or those that have already attended a class and want to improve quickly. We have a small and intimate studio environment, so you will all have plenty of advice and tips from our pottery tutors. Walk away with a set of glazed mugs and bowls! Spend an evening with clay, making a pair of unique candlestick holders. Using traditional hand-building techniques, we'll be exploring texture and form, with a few options for fancy handles The perfect gift, or prop for a cosy night in with Cluedo.

Jeni Jacques-Williams, the owner of Lemon Studio, is a regular columnist for Clay Craft magazine, and provides monthly articles to support and guide new and experienced potters across the UK and internationally. Espress Yourself! John teaches throwing and hand-building classes at Lemon Studio. Together, we'll be making two short films over the course of two, full day workshops with different groups. This workshop is perfect for all ages, limited availability, be sure to book to avoid disappointment. We have a small and intimate studio environment, so you will all have plenty of advice and tips from our pottery tutors. Join Easy Peel Studio for a fun workshop helping to make ceramic tiles - which will clad a new Pavilion building at Stockport Interchange Park! You'll be populating a wooden frame with offcuts from the workshop, natural materials and found objects - whilst learning about the specific insects they will attract. Juliet loves to take her pottery wheel to music festivals where she teaches people how to 'throw-a-pot'. The tiles will be made with wild clay dug from various places that are connected with the town, celebrating the connectivity and transportation offerings.
