However, unlike the Survival Mode , the player is not allowed to switch seeds between a wave of attack. Additionally, The player cannot plant any sun-producing plants , Puff-shrooms or Sea-shrooms. However, they do get to spend sun in the beginning of the mini-game and as the player progresses, they will earn extra sun sun after each wave. The mini-game may be named after many games or the actual term "last stand," which refers to when a small force holds its position when attacked by a much larger force, hoping to make a significant difference despite the disparity in power. In the start, the player gets sun and can choose any plant except sun-producing plants and free plants. These plants include Sun-shrooms , Sunflowers , Twin Sunflowers , Puff-shrooms , Sea-shrooms , and the Imitater version of any of them.

Plant the three Gloom-shrooms and put in the Garlic and Pumpkin and keep on getting more sun! After the first flag, do nothing. Everything worked perfectly until the fourth or fifth flag where one of the Football Zombies managed to chew through one of the upper corner Gloom-shrooms. Plant Lily Pads in the first three columns of the pool, then plant your Repeaters down the whole first column. And they're far back enough to have a much higher probability in stealing the football helmets of the faster and tougher Football Zombies than steal buckets or screen doors. Zombies Easy "Last Stand" mini-game strategy possible spoilers. What's more, I did a few experiments and saw that zombies eating a plant two squares away would still get hit by the Gloom-shrooms. Sadly, their explosions are completely randomized but I more often don't have that problem with this build than when I do. And this can kill the Zombie Yeti easily, before it even turns around. Shield zombies are crushed quickly.

It is similar to the mini-game of the same name, but with five levels and an Endless version. However, the player is able to sell plants for sun , and, for the five finite levels, cannot choose their own seed packets. However, in Endless Mode, the player can choose their own seed packets.

Then plant a lot of Gloom-shrooms behind. It is similar to the mini-game of the same name, but with five levels and an Endless version. After this level you should get all 3 achievements! It's best to fire at the two squares that are on the second row from the right, and on the inn. After each flag is completed sun will be rewarded. You should only plant the required plants as there are not enough sun to plant the optional plants.
