Ping g15
Every year it seems like one company after another hypes up the release of their new ping g15 yet to the point almost no one even listens anymore.
The Ping G15 Irons are certainly a case of evolution not revolution and Ping have not forgotten the traits that made the G10 irons so appealing to so many people. We liked the G10 irons and we were hopeful that the G15 irons would be even better. In our tests the G15 irons were a delight to hit. They were very forgiving right across the face and the full cavity graphics badge did its job in enhancing the feel and sound of the club at impact. For mid to high handicappers these clubs are ideal and are available in sets from 3 iron through to sand wedge. I borrowed my father's G 15 orange dot graphite soft regular shaft irons today.

With a club as easy to hit as the G15 hybrid, why fight a difficult long iron? The new G15 hybrid offers great distance, incredible forgiveness, and loads of versatility in a new package. PING has been a major innovator in the industry for quite a while. Up until this point, my experience with PING clubs had been limited to their drivers and putters. Though I never pulled the trigger on it, the Rapture V2 was in my opinion one of the best drivers I had ever hit. Normally, hybrids fit in great with this demographic, though there are always golfers who want to play long irons over the hybrid counterparts. Instead, think of this hybrid as being more like a driving iron, similar to the hybrids made popular by Adams. The intention of this design is to make the player set up to hit this hybrid the same way they would with a regular iron. Perimeter weighting is provided by a large internal toe pad in order to provide forgiveness and assists in locating the center of gravity low and close to the face for a high launch and low spin. In fact, PING is calling the G15 their longest and most forgiving hybrid to date, thanks to the previously mentioned toe pad. Esthetics Again, the G15 hybrid looks much like a driving iron, but with a shortened, curving black head. The head design is very much a departure from its previous-generation, fairway wood-inspired G10 counterpart.
My goal is to get ping g15 a 3 in the next year and these are helping me get there. The best move I have ever made in improving my game.
The quality of the irons just gets better and better and the brilliant G15s are no exception. Considering they have replaced the magnificent G10s this is no mean feat from the Ping engineers. The first thing to say is just how forgiving these clubs are — 7g of weight has been redistributed to the perimeter of the club to ensure better ball-striking on off-entre hits, while the thinner face than the previous G10 means you get more distance on your shots. Looks-wise, you will either love or hate the chunky look of these irons. It would seem these would suit high handicappers, but our triumvirate of testers approved of the looks and said the big head was confidence-inspiring for people the clubs were aimed at. He also noted how nice the ball felt off the face, while Alex also enjoyed the sensation of the clubhead.
The PING G15 irons are ideal for anyone looking for top-quality game-improving irons that will aid their progression. The large heads produce a penetrating flight, particularly compared with many game-improvement irons, which tend to hit the ball very high, but lose distance. While the thick sole undoubtedly helps get the ball up and away, we found that this made them quite hard to hit from tight lies. Seven grams of weight have been removed from the tuning port in the back of the head of the PING G15 irons and repositioned to help provide high launch and optimal spin. The face is thinner than previous models and weight is added to the toe of the head for more stability and forgiveness. The PING G15s should suit golfers who want high-quality game-improving irons, need to gain more accuracy and distance, and prefer large, confidence-inspiring heads. Payment will be collected in full upon placement of order. So easy to replace and a perfect replacement. I didn't realize how much I missed having this club in my bag. Finding replacement irons on an older set is never easy. Morton works directly with ping to get brand new old stock clubs. It was always difficult to find individual irons for my older set online. In comes Morton Golf and for an excellent value I was able to get a brand new replacement iron. Definitely recommend.

I would have been so disappointed had I chosen the Burners. There could be G20 sets by then. I am going to exchange them for the G 15 sets what hybrid G 15 would you recommend to replace the 2 and 3 iron? The first thing you notice is the larger than normal sole on these irons. I bought these used as an experiment w more forgiving clubs and i dont see myself going back. Driver, 3 wood and 4 wood are also easy clubs to hit. We are not always hitting a nice draw or a consistent fade over the course of a summer so it is nice to have that ability to change the driver on the fly to adjust for our minor swing changes. But straight and long off a tee. So was I impressed with the G15? No surprise that choi and others have been playing these. I think Tom Kite said somrthing like, hit a few practise balls to find out which way the ball is going that day and go play. In fact I thought the ball flight was a little too high for my taste and could see issues playing with these in windy conditions. I have no shame carrying these clubs. Very nice club! According to the launch monitor, my launch angle was actually higher with the G15s than the G10s.
Every year it seems like one company after another hypes up the release of their new driver yet to the point almost no one even listens anymore. Because every year so many of them fall short of their promises and claims. Of course every company is going to try and hype their product…we get it…that is what sells clubs.
It was a prototype head that we will be telling you about real soon ;. Loved it, fit the gap between my woods and TA3 Irons perfectly, does hit a little higher than I was hoping though. I too was VERY impressed with this web site. One factor is that the weather in Canada is a bit cooler now, and this affects the carry distance significantly. After three weeks of experiencing the ridiculous forgiveness of the G15s, I believe that these irons will attract a lot of converts. Howdy , new to the board, I just ordered a G15 set of Clubs, Next, you notice a cavity badge that is sharp but blends and fits in with these gun metal gray clubs. I was leaning heavily toward the Burner set. I took the 7 and 5 irons from both sets. Look Ping is known for utilitarian, workman-like equipment and the G15 irons certainly fit that mold.
