Since I posted about PinDIY on my Instagram the post is now archived , there has been a lot of information that was sent my way. I decided there should be a more permanent and easily accessible place for all that information to live, so this blog post is it. She left a comment on PinDIY demanding the removal of the pattern from the website. Her comment was deleted immediately and there has been no other action taken by the website. The pullover pattern, along with several other of my patterns, is still there. Upon researching more about this website, I found out that there are hundreds if not thousands of both knitting and crochet patterns that are being distributed illegally. There are even entire books that have been uploaded onto this site!

It's some kind of DIY community website where users earn points by posting and can spend those points on various downloads. Here's the link to the thread: bbs. I tried to contact the post moderators, but here's the thing: I can't message other users because I don't have "enough points. I read the website FAQ's, trying to find a way to email the administration. They say to click the "contact us" button at the bottom of the screen. No such link exists. I try to message the admin's actual user page, but that's right, I can't send messages to other users. After reporting, I left a reply to the thread where the download was posted asking them to take it down. I logged in today to see if anyone had responded and I find that my account has been banned!
