The score is sung by both actors and the audience, who will be taught the songs by the actors and then become a part of the performance by singing along with them. Night Side Songs focuses on both the experience of the ill, but also of caretakers. In a society where death, grief, and illness are often shrouded away in silence, it is the selflessness of caretakers that courageously confronts the hardest truths of mortality.
