Be careful buying from this site. I've reported sick puppies and the mother dog who I believed to be from a puppy farm. Mother dog was clearly distressed around breeder and was skinny and sick looking as were the puppies. Pets4homes wanted photographic evidence or vet report. I didn't buy dog I know what a sick puppy looks like after having 4 dogs, one of whom came from a puppy farm back in the 90's and who was dead within 6 months of my buying him so I know what to look out for when it comes to purchasing a dog. I will never make that mistake again.

Just seen a really concerning advert which a friend forwarded to me on Pets4homes - a man is giving away two female dachsunds and their four day old puppies. I think eight dogs in total? No other info except that the dogs are unfriendly. Those poor dogs. Should I contact him to tell him to take them to a rescue? He isn't asking for money. Report the advert, it could be some clever scam, could be someone offloading "hot" dogs , could be genuine. It's a tough market for sales at the moment especially fighting against unlicensed and unregistered breeders. Just be careful. And be wary of rescues. Our local friendly rescue breeds from rescued bitches and sells the pups with a sob story, and sells rescued pups too. Nasty business. Oh yeah, I can't have a dog at the moment for many reasons so it wouldn't be for me to take them - just think at four days old if it's a genuine ad!

The catagories for cats however are not correct, there should be a Foreign White section, an Oriental Longhaired section as these are Breeds apart and not general Orientals. Where do I start?
