Entropie View Profile View Posts. No, but they do mitigate the DR especially on higher levels. The way it works is that if you use a full attack to make multiple attacks in a round against a target you get multiple attacks on one hand by having high level and thus high BAB and also by having certain talents like rapidshot, a full attack requires that you do not move that round all of the damage is tallied first and then DR is applied rather than it being applied to each attack.

Hey guys, I know this probably comes up a lot, but I wanted to just straight ask the community what their opinion on Clustered Shots is, and what, if anything, should be done to fix it. We've recently come to notice the power of Clustered Shots and archers in general in our JR campaign, in which the archer routinely kills the boss monster in a single round of combat. And while we can't point to a single element that makes her overpowered, we've noticed that Clustered Shots tends to makes a nonsense of the only weakness the archer has or had, rather - damage reduction. Caveat: Yes, we know about Storm Spire, we've gotten past that part. However, there are hardly ever any wind effects in play in JR, especially when you're underground or indoors- where much of the adventure takes place. Personally, I think Clustered Shot comes way too earlier for the archer-fighter.

So clustered shots when performing a full attack with ranged weapon , is supposed to total up all your damage from each attack before applying damage reduction Is this feat not working? I have to assume to, since it's supposed to result in 1 large damage roll rather than 3 separate rolls.
Pathfinder clustered shots
There are numerous variations of pathfinder, but its most straightforward form involves finding a list of words on a path through a wordsearch-style grid. The puzzle can be made more challenging by omitting the list, but only if the theme and its examples are suitable. A trail of American states would be easy enough to find, whether listed or not. An unlisted trail of American towns and cities would only be reasonable if restricted to high-profile places. In a more general theme, such as Christmas, solvers won't necessarily know the exact form of the words they're seeking. A certain amount of ambiguity may enhance the puzzle, but inconsistency will spoil it. The position of words on the path is also important. While it is desirable to have places on the path where solvers must look a few letters ahead to be sure of the correct direction, it should not be possible to stray onto a point further along the path, missing out a section on the way. So it is preferable to have the start of only one listed item adjacent to the end letter of any other item on the path. As with standard wordsearches, offensive words can appear in the grid if not checked.

We've recently come to notice the power of Clustered Shots and archers in general in our JR campaign, in which the archer routinely kills the boss monster in a single round of combat. The feat completely removes one of the main balance factors of bows. The average amount of damage a bow will be doing is 4. Archery has a hard enough time keeping up without you taking away the some of the very few things that let it keep up with melee. Huppolitan wrote:. In the PHB at least the rule of thumb was a 3, gp limit. Re: [PF] Clustered shots Because there is cover and concealment to deal with and at lvl 6 you will not be having many ways to overcome that. Are we also forgetting about things such as swallow whole, teleportation abilities, invisibility, and many other spell like abilities? Heck, no one has a holy weapon yet!

After that, you have to hit a lot of times, which against level appropriate foes is not usually that easy, especuially on tertiary attacks. And seriously, by level 9 full casters are already starting to get kind of patronizing with melee and archery: "Awww I suppose the main issue that I see in all these endless threads posted about "archers be brokez!!!!!!! Also, Deflect Arrows feat, you are the dm you can throw it on your monsters for more staying power. It does nothing for you on occasions where you only make one attack against an enemy. Think how few players are going to want to put up with all the nonsense and downsides of being a monk in order to be dangerous enough with archery to 'keep up' with their melee-fightin' friends. I haven't seen any of my party archers use this feat yet. I'm not question they don't exist I just want to know. Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising, and problematic harassment, fighting, or rude posts. The advantages include: a full round attack in the first round while melee are still moving up, and more attacks per round. You're really only looking at epic and untyped.
