I used to use SAI and I fell completely in love with it. I love the interface and all its tools, specially the blur tool. The problem: It's only for Windows So I stopped using it and I also had to stop drawing because it was a nightmare. I got into the task of finding a similar program to SAI and found Clip Studio, which is nice and all.

It would be nice to see a plugin for a clipping tool. I am currently paying for 2 of my 4 programs to get this feature. Also, designers for this gaming platform frequently use blur tools. I would love to see an improved blur brush added. The blur tool is ok but I think a better one could be implemented.

So as you may have notice in some of my comics, I tried to experiment making a blurring background effect on specific panels. The way this looks tells that it's working fine in it's effect. Now the problem is this: panel2. You can see how it bleeds into the rest of the background, poorly shaving off of the effect and making it see-through. I don't know how to use FireAlpaca or Krita so yeah. For some reason your blur isn't blurring the edge of the figure.

PaintTool SAI is primarily a drawing program that has limited blur effects. However, there is one native SAI function you can use to add blur effects to your drawings in the Filter menu.
