OurDCS is a school-wide digital platform designed to enhance learning and support effective communication within our school community. As such, any and all usage must comply with the school's educational, spiritual and community strengthening goals, policies and procedures. When accessing technology resources at Dubbo Christian School all existing state and federal laws as well as DCS policies must be followed including those that deal with intellectual property protection, privacy, sexual harassment, data security and confidentiality. Violations of law may result in criminal prosecution as well as disciplinary action by the school. The primary purpose of collecting this information is to enable the school to provide schooling for students enrolled at Dubbo Christian School. Certain laws governing or relating to the operation of schools require that certain information is collected. These include Public Health and Child Protection laws. Health information about students is sensitive information within the terms of the National Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act. We ask you to provide medical reports about students from time to time.
