Reactors and Catalyst are investment much like ascendant shards from Destiny 2orokin catalyst, you don't use them for everything. And it should be a little more rewarding in the credit department.

Asked by ValeriuC , July 4, First of all apologies if this topic has been posted before , I tried to look and search around the forum but couldn't find it anywhere. I am still unsure whether this is a bug or not because I've only been playing for a week , although all of my friends told me this shouldn't be happening so I decided to address the issue here. Essentially what happened is : I gained a lot of ranks on my weapons at once thanks to doing defense missions with friends , and I decided to install new mods and improve my performance in the game , then I remembered someone mentioned the auto install feature and decided to try it out on my Rank 29 "Broken war" , needless to say I was rather shocked to see all the mod slots occupied after using it , I instantly realized that shouldn't have happened and I looked at the capacity only to see it went up to 62 , I went into actions again and noticed an orokin catalyst was installed , the only one I had on me that I decided to save up , at first I was a little mad it didn't give me a prompt to use the catalyst or not , but then I realized it could have been a bug so I started researching. To clarify , since this happened I refrained from using the weapon , I don't want to use it at the very least until I receive a response , so I wont benefit off the advantage in case the catalyst can be taken off , I understand if its impossible to revert said change , even without using the weapon after the catalyst had been installed , I just wanted to raise awareness of this in case its a bug so nobody else will make the same mistake I did. Although if its a feature , a little prompt to notify the player about the potential usage of the catalyst would be nice. Many thanks ,Valeriu. Around a few hours after it happened I was informed broken war comes equipped with a catalyst I really apologize for this , I didnt know and assumed it was a bug , yet didnt bother to check in my inventory to see if it really had used up my catalyst Yes, a few special things can come with stuff already installed. When in doubt, you might check the wiki, it's helpful. Also, auto install is terrible for modding your equipment. Look into what the mods you have do and how they affect the stats and use of your stuff and you'll get better results. All rights reserved.

I built a catalyst to use on my Vasto but I can't seem to find where I go to use it. And I will be building a reactor for my Rhino, so will it be in the same place? Because if so, I won't know how to use that either :P.
