This company does not typically respond to reviews. After my complains Opodo helpdesk reached me and annual fee was returned back to my bank. I booked a hotel in Rome using Opodo - when we arrived at the address we discovered that the hotel had been closed and no longer exists. However, Opodo let us book and pay for the hotel for several nights.

All paid up front and was suppose to have Euro blocked on the card as per Opodo documentation for hire on arrival. The company tried charging me Euro then settled at Euro. Rather then blocking the amount, they charged it to my card resulting in transaction charges, contrary to the contract signed by Opodo. Most car rentals only block the amount so no charges made. On returning the car, I received no refund and the car company said they will return it after 4 weeks?.

Eventually l had to ask for a refund and by the 30th day they had secured my refund in full and back into my account today. They meant what they said. I had to call them and thank them for their sincere support. I won't hesitate to use them in the future once the flight price and duration suit me.
