The ship sits in feet of water, not too far from the Isle Royale shore. It has attracted the attention of only the most experienced divers, those who don't mind a cold, dark dive.

Nothing was found until May when some fishermen recovered the remains of several crew members on Isle Royale. Five bodies were able to be identified and the remains were shipped to the next of kin.
