Some are even just an excuse to drink beer and listen to music. The event, which always takes place on a Saturday in July, highlights what an awesome small city Hallowell, Maine is. Each year, there is a parade, live music, food, a 5K, and an epic fireworks display shot off over the Kennebec River. We have not gotten a specific schedule But, if it is anything like years past, we can expect it to be a Saturday FILLED with fun for the entire family - and some adult events, too.
