Ocarina glitch

Here you can find information relating to all of the tricks and glitches in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. After having thawed King Zora as an adult, you can hold down R during the text. If you do, King Zora will give you the eyeball frog instead of the Zora Tunic. After having done this, he will not give you the Zora Tunic unless you warp the game will give you the prescription after you warp , then show him the prescription holding R again. Doing so will let you keep the prescription, but get the Zora Tunic as well, skipping everything before the prescription. Login Sign Up. Ocarina Items is the term used to describe a glitch which allows link to use and play other items as if they were the ocarina. This leads to the ability to play songs in places where the regular ocarina item is unusable, or in situations where the player does not have the regular ocarina such as if it has been overwritten using bottle duplication. There are various methods to perform the glitch, all found in Ocarina of time and tested out in Majora's Mask. Note: The bottle must be out and in link's hands when the ESS is performed.

Login Sign Up. Ocarina Items, often called OI, is a glitch that allows Link to play a fake Ocarina that is fully functional by using certain other items. This trick is useful for situations where the Ocarina cannot be used, or is skipped to save time. When Link has a full Bottle in his hand, you can delay the Bottle dumping animation by jumping and then pressing the button for the Bottle in mid-air. If you then quickly put away the Bottle before you hit the ground by switching to a new item, the game will not be able to play the Bottle dumping animation, so it will default to the Ocarina animation instead. If you empty a Bottle one frame after putting the Bottle away while standing in place, Link will play a fake Ocarina while his hands are empty.

There are many glitches found in Ocarina of Time. Some glitches can be used in order to perform speed runs, and others for useful effects such as infinite Deku Sticks.
