It provides players with an unprecedented leveling path that lets them tackle and complete all quests in the game with ease, as well as gain XP for completing quests in the game and obtain various other benefits. The mod also completely changes the default leveling system in the game and makes it completely different from the vanilla version. All quests are designed to be played in a very vanilla style, with quests using the same objectives and game play features. With this mod, players can use the vanilla leveling system to their advantage, by gaining skill points that can be spent on any skill tree. Skills can then be spent on perks that improve abilities for each skill type.

This mod seems awesome but I have a few questions about some default settings. First, when you gain a level using OXP, you are granted 13 attribute points. As for skill points, by default in OXP you gain 36 per level. This may seem like a lot, however, to increase your skills in OXP, you must spend multiple points:. By my estimate, your average level gain in vanilla would result in around close to 20 skill ups, and using OXP's conversion, you would need a lot more than the default 36 points to raise 20 skill points. Bottom line: I think that the default settings in OXP for attributes is too high, and for skill points is too low. Anyone else use this mod before? Do you agree or disagree with my thoughts? Did you change the default settings and what were your experiences? This does look awesome! I'm glad you've introduced it to me. I've never liked the earn XP by use system, particularly since it makes completing quests sometimes rather pointless. I also like the fact that your Magicka increases along with your level. I always thought that was an oversight in the game your health increases, why not your Magicka. On planetelderscrolls, it suggests that this mod is relatively friendly with other mods.

Once you level up you get a set number of attribute and skill points that you can place into anything you wish, your major skills get a discount though so the points go further. Also, on the leveling status screen it gives the information as if Oblivion XP is working, but I am unable to gain any experience.
