Eight is the third episode of the second season of Numberblocks. It is the 18th episode overall. Numberland is rocked by the arrival of superhero Eight, known to his friends and fans as Octoblock, who sings a song about his talents. One meets Seven. Seven wants to know how high One can hop. First, One hops three blocks higher, then jumps five blocks higher on the second try, and Seven imagines something lucky will happen. On the next try, One finally hops higher than Seven and Eight grows eight limbs and counts them. Eight wonders if his eight arms are also legs. Eight then changes formation, and thinks whatever his limbs are, he likes them.

For the show, see Numberblocks show. The Numberblocks are a race of living counting blocks from the fictional planet Numberland. They seem to have no fingers. They each have a symbol called a Numberling that floats on top of them, and that represents the number of blocks they're made up of. They can do maths with themselves or with other Numberblocks, such as adding or subtracting. It is a mystery where the Numberblocks came from, but one day, a single, small red block fell from the sky onto Numberland. It soon came to life and met a Numberling 1, which bounced on top of the block and made it realise that it is One. Some time later, with the help of a magic mirror, One was able to unleash various new friends up to Five and unlock various different activities and events.

Eight is the Numberblock made up of 8 magenta blocks, with 8 octopus-like limbs of which he uses six for arms and two for legs mostly used in a 2x4 arrangement. He wears a purple infinity symbol-shaped mask with 8 spikes, 4 on each side.
