I have spent a fair amount of time on the NOAA website and I really like the capabilities of the NBDC, but it seems like most of the places I plan to boat only have half of the information listed. As for the limit of only 12 hours, I'm sure it has to do with the reliability of the prediction decreasing as the time of the prediction increases.
