The Titan lacks a full-time AWD to match the power output, and a lack of passenger room for crew cab models makes it subpar compared to competitors. Noisy, thirsty, unreliable etc. Imo, my two Nissan trucks have been better and more reliable than all my past trucks from the big three automakers. You wanna hear noisy come take a ride with me. Every Titan is powered by a hp V-8 backed by a nine-speed automatic transmission. Available in both rear- and four-wheel drive, the Titan can be configured with either an extended cab with a 6. The bigger Titan XD is built for heavy-duty work and is reviewed separately. While the Titan has a comfy cabin, it's technology-challenged versus newly redesigned trucks like the Ford F Other full-sizers offer high-performance versions with massively more-powerful engines and wildly-longer-travel off-road suspensions that are named after scary dinosaurs—think Raptor and TRX. But the Titan has no counter to those; its mildly upgraded Pro-4X model only gets as crazy as its skid plates, Bilstein shocks, and badging will let it—which is not very. Nissan makes only a few minor equipment changes to the Titan for Nissan has also re-introduced the Midnight Edition package for crew-cab SV models. That package goes dark with black exterior and interior styling, as well as black inch wheels. Since the Titan is far from class-leading we think it serves best as a work truck.

Nissan's full-sized pickup competes well with most other models. The Titan is quick, handles relatively nimbly and rides reasonably well. The cabin is also roomy.

I agree! The King Cab 2WD is rated for 7, pounds. An innovative storage box in the rear fender is ideal for wet tow straps, chains or tie-down straps. It looks good and easily provides plenty of space for things like the dual-zone climate control on SL models. The electric-locking rear differential PRO-4X only is more effective in severe terrain than the all-wheel electronic traction control of regular 4WD Titans and most competitors. It really pissed me off. I dont even need 4WD! Decent truck Nissan could do better. The only engine is a very powerful 5. The longer wheelbase only betters cruising comfort but even the short-wheelbase Titans will generate no complaints, at least not from anyone who knows what a ton of payload means. However, the longer cargo bed comes with a wheelbase that is also about 20 inches longer, at Some of y'all are more sensitive than the folks on Miata. The exhaust keeps the V8 rumble so adored by truck buyers while eliminating the drone that could wear on long highway trips.
The Nissan Titan is a capable and competent full-size pickup truck, but it's outclassed by more capable and contemporary rivals.
Pickup trucks aren't held in high regard for ride comfort or handling prowess yet they have made strides in both. This is a big, brawny pickup and looks it. I have to pull my seat up in his with someone behind me, in the t its all the way back with someone behind it. I'll show you noisy. Please consider creating a new thread. Best Truck I've owed I brought the truck in July it had 54k on clock just done normal scheduled maintenance and few upgrades like dual exhaust the only major issue in 5 years was the air bag clock spring broke other than that is been a awesome truck just about to hit 80k in August we recommend a Nissan Titan. I've had both Chevy and Ford owners ride in my truck and praise how spacious it is and they wish their truck had more room. Build Quality. If you want a vehicle with this level of capability, it will deliver this level of fuel economy.
