I am looking for the best way to mod oblivion with or through Nexus mod manager, I have modded Skyrim with Nexus mod which seem to be much easier a DL and plug in style. For Oblivion I would mainly like the graphics to be maxed as much as possible. Don't use the nexus mod manager to install all your mods on oblivion. It's only ideal with very few which specifically mention it, and it's alright with some that only require for you to drag and drop. But using the nmm by default will either cause you problems with most other mods or won't install them properly. Oblivion mod manager and wrye bash is what you should be using instead. I also recommend the archive invalidation for oblivion automatically does the proccess for you -which is neccessary for most mods , as well as boss to sort your load order if you're going for more than just a handfull of mods. As for the graphics to be maxed out like in the youtube videos"you're going to have to choose between 2 routes, OBGE or enb -you can't use both at the same time. These must be installed manually. The rest comes down to getting the mods and following the instructions. It could be a pain, especially given Oblivion isn't exactly well optimized by itself, let alone when you strap a ton of mods to it. Not saying it's impossible to run it without problems whilst using a ton of mods, but running into problems with mods is normal. Don't use BOSS. The people who made it have moved on to LOOT.
